Just like hip-hop producers will scour dusty record bins to find breaks to sample from old soul and funk records, there is also a market for finding those same breaks on disco records. Legendary disco producer Tom Moulton was a master at extending the breaks on classic disco tracks, or splicing breaks to keep the dancefloor in a heady rush of intoxication. Disco was created to make people dance all night, so creating these long extended breaks just raised the ante even higher. This design takes a 70s disco record aesthetic with shooting stars over and underneath the text “Disco Breaks”. This design is for the break collectors, discoid freaks and dance music junkies.
